Individual BLOG Update#4--Software Engineer or Business Analyst?

Personally speaking, if i have only two choices, to be a software engineer or a business analysis, I think i prefer to be a business analysis.

First of all, I don't familiar with software programming knowledge and any other knowledge related to computer science. Secondly, I am not interested in learning those kinds of knowledge because I feel slightly dull about the knowledge in this area. Additionally, software technology is continually updating, the knowledge I spent several months to learn will be out of date in just two years. So I have to keep learning software engineering up-to-date knowledge, otherwise, I won't be able to work.

Business analyst is what I want to be in the future, I enjoy analyzing businesses based on different cases, requirements and situations. As well as analyzing the organization current or future finance situation, investment projects, business models and so fourth. Being a business analyst does not need deep technical knowledge, we just need have some general knowledge about information systems, excels, words, and some specific accounting software, etc.

All in all, I think that I would definitely choose to be a business analysis.

Individual Blog Update #3 -- Network Inelligence

Network intelligence can be very beneficial to us, making our life more convenient, but also can be a scary and dangerous thing.

The network intelligence scares me the most is the  privacy issue, the possibility for network share information with people whom it should not. This could be information such as where you are currently located, your friend's birthday pictures, how is your new awesome car looks like and so on, So the stranger could pretend to be your friend, use your friend's name to add you on facebook and ask you for finance help.Or they could use the information to know when is your vacation and come to steal your car when you not in the city.

Additionally, when you purchase things online, you need to provide home address, cellphone number, credit card number and so forth. Those information won't be delete after the deal is complete, it is permanent. Those information might be stolen by hackers, they can get access to your credit card and use your money to purchase lots of expensive things in a very short time.

The things that i would not want the network to know about me, my family and my friends is our personal life, when we use online chat tool to talk to each other, I don't want the network know what exactly we are talking about, what exactly we are doing, thinking and planing. I don't want strangers access my cellphone number, home address, credit card number, social insurance number, known who my friends are, who my family members are, and so forth. I just want my privacy and a safe network system.

Personally, I think I am still in a relatively safe context, I haven't experience any bad things from network. I believe network intelligence is both useful and dangerous. But it will be more safe and secure in the future.
