Since
there is a power outage happened on campus last Wednesday, many students are
unable to learn how to use NVU software to create employee website in Busi2400
lab#1.
A viable solution to this problem can be create a tutorial video and post it to youtube. TA can still use the regular lab power point slides and record their voice going through by required software. Therefore, when students look at the tutorial video, it feels like they are still in a real tutorial. After post the tutorial video to Youtube, TA should let all the students know the web link. So TA can post the link to BUSI2400 Home page and also, email the Youtube link to all of the students in the program to make sure everyone known the tutorial video link. As we all know, Youtube video is easy to access anytime and anywhere. Students are available to watch the video more than once if they did not get it at the first time.
On the other hand, TA can create a facebook group for students to ask questions about the lab at any time before the deadline. Students can easily find a common question’s solution from previous posts.
All in all, I believe this is a very easy and useful solution to the power outage.
